Carbon Steel A334 GR 11 Tubing consists mainly of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, and chromium. It consists of usually 0.30%–0.60% carbon, 0.90%–1.35% manganese, and 0.50% chromium, with superior strength and oxidization resistance. The mechanical properties are a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa (30 ksi) and tensile strength of 415–550 MPa (60–80 ksi). It has high resistance against high-temperature conditions, making it most suitable to apply to heat exchangers and boilers.
